Did you know that home appliances are the fastest growing group of pollution emitters after automobiles? According to Worldwatch Institute, home appliances such as water heaters account for 12 percent of greenhouse gases emitted in industrial countries. The Union of Concerned Scientists, in turn, has stated if homes in the US replaced their existing appliances with more efficient models, 175 million tons of heat-trapping gases would be eliminated! Grand Hall recognizes the responsibility in designing earth friendly products to protect our most precious asset � the environment.

SCAQMD (Southern California Air Quality Management District) stipulates that water heaters must meet certain emission guidelines in order to be sold and operated in Southern California, which has one of the toughest emission requirements. According to Rule 1146 Amendment 2, an endless water heater should have less than 55ppm NOx under maximum combustion.

At its lowest, the Eternal Hybrid Water Heater emits less than 5ppm NOx under maximum combustion. The low emission means an earth friendly product that not only saves you energy but also keeps our environment clean.

Low emission is achieved by the efficient combustion process. The turbo injects perfectly mixed ratio of air to gas for combustion. Unlike traditional combustion which draws air from surrounding areas resulting in uneven mix of air to gas ratio, Eternal�s perfect combustion can produces less by-products. The exhaust also moves the by-products out of the combustion chamber so efficiency is not reduced.
