• Feed-back sensor. In case of emission gas back flowing or blocked venting, computer will turn on exhaust fan or shut down the system for safety
• Dual stage heat exchanger protection. Thermostat installed on the heat exchanger shuts down gas valve if it detects overheating, the user can reset the switch. Thermal fuse mounted on the outside of the heat exchanger is the second stage protection. The fuse will cut off the gas supply from the inlet in case thermostat switch failed to activate. Thermal fuse requires service call if engaged.
• Dual stage gas valve. Two stages of gas control in serial configuration. The configuration ensures safety just in case one stage fails the other can still shut down gas flow if needed.
• The leakage breaker cuts off electricity to the unit if it detects an electricity leak.
• Burner flame sensor detects if the burner is working correctly and will shut the system down if no flame is detected
• Remaining flame detection. The system will automatically purge any excess fuel that is left in the combustion chamber after hot water is no longer used to ensure the flames on the burner are extinguished
